As mentioned on our Period Property Renovation page, stone floors are something we come across frequently. We mostly work with old pennants but every now and again we get treated with white lias or blue lias flagstones.
Underfloor heating has moved on leaps and bounds in the last ten years which enables us to install in under the stone. Not only does this give you a warm floor in the winter months but is an economical way to heat your house and helps to keep rising damp at bay.
Although we are a traditional company and mostly work with reclaimed materials, we will also quote for the installation of new stone floors.
